The Detroit Police Department are searching for ex-Detroit Police Officer Stefon Hodo. His guns and car were used by the suspect that was caught on video firing shots into a home.
The suspect was arrested in the non-fatal shooting in the 15300 block of Ferguson (circumstances below) and is alleged to have stolen Hodo’s vehicle and weapons. The vehicle and weapons were then used in the shooting and have been recovered. The department says they are concerned for Hodo’s well-being and are not sure if he is involved or not. Hodo left the department in 2013. He served from 2005-2013. Preliminary investigation has revealed that at approximately 11:15 a.m. the suspect was at the location and fired shots at home. A male in his 40’s was shot and taken to the hospital in stable condition. The victim went to the front door and exchanged gunfire with the suspect and was struck once in the finger. The suspect was taken into custody around 11:00 p.m. near Schaefer and Tireman.
