JUSTICE FOR TAYANNAA teenage girl found dead early Monday morning has been identified, and Denver police are searching for a vehicle believed to be involved in the girl’s homicide.
The body of Tayanna Manuel, 16, was found about 6:15 a.m. in the 4900 block of N. Salida Street, Denver police said Monday. Police Monday evening tweeted a photo of a gray 2012 Honda CR-V with a Colorado license plate CNE-I47 and a pink and black Auto Nation dealer tag on the front saying they believe the car is involved in Manuel’s homicide. |

She said she met Kason’s family on Little York Road Wednesday afternoon to help them search the area before the family ended up leaving to search somewhere else. “Our arms pour out to the mother and father, most definitely. I know how they feel. I watched the pain on my own mother and father’s face but finding that baby is the number one goal,” McCown-Luster said. |

SUSPECT ARRESTEDNeighbor Demontrey Wattree says trotter took care of her younger siblings and had big dreams.
“Something like this you wouldn’t expect it to happen, but you got to keep your eyes open now because it’s your own neighbor that may go out there and do something to you,” Wattree said. 8 News Now spoke to Trotter’s family off camera, but they weren’t ready to speak about her death. 8 News Now also asked neighbors about Bailey, but we were told he kept to himself. As for his family, they had no comment. |
