Our work offers reassurance and hope for those reporting missing person cases that their case will receive an adequate response. We give peace of mind to a community that is otherwise neglected when lives are most at stake. We respond to those missing a loved one with the seriousness that situation always deserves. The Dock Ellis Foundation improves outcomes for minority missing persons. The issues we handle are a matter of basic survival for those who are missing. Without our services, action would be prolonged, with the potential to more often end in casualty. We increase the odds that minority missing persons will be found alive and brought to safety. We create the equitable potential for holding criminals, traffickers, and abusers accountable for actions against minority victims. We hope to enable underserves families a positive reunification. |
HISTORY
Recognizing the need for a program focusing on the needs of minority missing person, bringing them home and continue vital wrap around services to the entire family, dropping the percentage of crime and breaking generational curses in urban communities, in 2017 our founders realized the need for victim centered programming after the return of individuals missing, seeing this need, “Dock Ellis Foundation" began servicing victims by launching a 24-hour crisis hotline. The Dock Ellis Foundation addresses these systemic problems by providing timely awareness, investigation, and location of minority missing persons, returning them to safety when possible. We work with families to support them while assisting with search and rescue. We reunite families and loved ones. We offer a means of advocacy and hope for minority communities that regularly are underserved by law enforcement and media coverage.
At Dock Ellis Foundation Our work is done on the frontlines of response to return victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking back to safety.
