We create awareness for missing persons of color by providing community outreach programs to inform minority communities of ways to keep our youth safe and educate and train adults and children on ways to avoid human trafficking. The Dock Ellis Foundation works closely with families to assist with navigating the system during a critical moment when a loved one is reported missing.

FEATURED CASE - BRING HOME NIQUI MCCOWN, MISSING SISTER OF DOCK ELLIS FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTOR.
Twenty-eight-year-old prison guard Niqui McCown was engaged to Bobby Webster. On Sunday, July 22, 2001, just three weeks before their wedding, she arrived at her mother's house upset. She told her about an incident involving two men who harassed her and wouldn't leave her alone at a laundromat. She was afraid to go back there to get her laundry, but she eventually left her mother's house. She vanished that day and has not been seen or heard from since. The police could not find any signs of foul play nor a motive for her to vanish.

Dock Ellis Foundation partners with K-9 equipped Search & Rescue Units nationwide that are all volunteers and ready to deploy as quickly as possible. Having access to trained search and rescue units is essential in all missing persons cases, especially within minutes of someone vanishing. The longer it takes to get search teams on site, the less chance we have of locating the missing person. Please understand qualified search teams are deployed by law enforcement. We are here to assist with collaborations to guarantee these resources are available to you and your family.

$20,000 REWARD
A reward has been set for information on missing Dayton woman Cierra Chapman.
According to the Dayton Police Department, the reward for information leading to the recovery of Chapman or leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the people responsible has been set at $20,000. Thirty-year-old Chapman was last seen on Autumn Woods Drive in Trotwood in the early morning hours of Dec. 27, 2022, and her family reported her missing on Dec. 29. Her car, a silver 2014 Cadillac SRX SUV, was found in Middletown on Jan. 6, 2023. Police said there was no reason for her to be in that area, and they did not find any evidence in the car. Police reported that Chapman’s disappearance is considered suspicious. “She didn’t go missing by accident,” said Maj. Johns on Feb. 8. “This is a very well-planned out, well-orchestrated incident and people know.” |

Monday, January 9th 2023. DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- Dayton Police need help from the public in finding a woman reported missing on Christmas Day. According to the Ohio Attorney General's Office, Cierra Chapman, 30, of Dayton was last seen wearing a short-sleeved Tommy Hilfiger shirt, blue jeans, and black boots. She also has a tattoo on her neck that says "Jadden." Chapman is described as five-feet, five inches tall, weighing 123 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with additional information or questions regarding the case should contact Dayton Police Department at (937) 333-1070. |

Marilyn McCown, who is known as “Niqui” to her family, has been missing since July 22, 2001. The 28-year-old was last seen at a laundromat in Richmond, Indiana, just weeks before her wedding. Several people have been questioned in connection to her disappearance, but no one has ever been charged. McCown’s sister, Michelle McCown-Luster, joins Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to talk about her family's continued search for her sister.

JUSTICE FOR TAYANNAA teenage girl found dead early Monday morning has been identified, and Denver police are searching for a vehicle believed to be involved in the girl’s homicide.
The body of Tayanna Manuel, 16, was found about 6:15 a.m. in the 4900 block of N. Salida Street, Denver police said Monday. Police Monday evening tweeted a photo of a gray 2012 Honda CR-V with a Colorado license plate CNE-I47 and a pink and black Auto Nation dealer tag on the front saying they believe the car is involved in Manuel’s homicide. |
